Fox News will host the first 2024 GOP presidential primary debate and is teaming up with an online video platform Rumble to livestream the event from Milwaukee Wisconsin in August, the Republican National Committee said Wednesday.

Fox will also team up with the Young America’s Foundation for the debate.

“I am excited to announce that our first debate in Milwaukee will be in partnership with Fox News, Young America’s Foundation, and Rumble,” RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement to Fox News.

The debate will be exclusively broadcasted on Fox News, with Rumble as the main live-streaming partner.

McDaniel said on the Fox News Channel’s morning show, “Fox & Friends”, the event will be a “Fox News Republican Party Debate.”

She also said the RNC is excited to livestream on Rumble because “we are getting away from big tech, YouTube is owned by Google.”

CEO Chris Pavlovski said the platform’s mission is to “protect free speech is not just a slogan, it runs through the DNA of our company.”

The Young America’s Foundation will help with outreach to young voters, who receive much of their news from social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

When asked if GOP candidates will take a pledge to back the eventual GOP nominee, McDaniel replied,”It’s about beating [President] Joe Biden. It’s about beating what’s happening in this country right now.”
