Fulton DA Willis Acknowledges in New Court Docs ‘Personal Relationship’ with Trump Case Prosecutor

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis acknowledged Friday having developed a “personal relationship” with the top prosecutor in her election interference case against former President Donald Trump.

Willis (pictured above, right) made the acknowledgement in a new court filing.

She has for weeks faced allegations of having a romantic relationship with Nathan Wade (pictured above, left), the top special prosecutor in the case alleging Trump attempted to interfere with Georgia’s 2020 election results.

Willis in the court filing also said there was no reason for her to step aside in the criminal case against Trump, now the frontrunner to win the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, according to The Hill newspaper.

The allegations about the Willis-Wade relationship were first made last month by Michael Roman, a co-defendant in the Trump case.

He argued having the romantic ties, claiming it rendered the far-reaching Georgia election interference indictment “fatally defective,” The Hill also reports.
